No minimum balance is required for current accounts.

7. Can a bank account be opened using Internetbanking?

A Fio Konto savings account or a Term deposit with renewal can be opened using Internetbanking. Accounts are opened using the "Account management" tab - "Open" tab and then follow the orders directly within Internetbanking. The ability to open an account in Internetbanking is tied to the signature of the "Addendum to the current account contract". This addendum can be signed at any Fio banka branch - the service is provided free of charge.

8. Can other parties be added as authorized account users?

Fio banka accounts always have a single member. An additional person can be added as an authorized user to any account with varying levels of authorization. This starts with only seeing the account balance ( passive access), use of the available balance on the account and the actual ability to work with the account itself (in this case also to close the account). The authorized person can also receive their own card on the account. It all depends on the individual settings of the account owner.
